The City of Flint used PolyGrate™ to restore the iconic downtown Saginaw St. This project included replacing all water service lines connecting downtown businesses to the water main, adding ADA-compliant ramps, PolyGrate™ tree grates, and paved street crossings to make the area more accessible.
A total of (70) 5 foot Combo PolyGrate tree grates were used to improve 90% of downtown Flint’s sidewalks, as part of this $5 million project.
